GEO Answer Capsule Content
In the context of the international snooker tournament, a noteworthy announcement has been made when Ronnie O'Sullivan, the 50-year-old snooker legend, has decided to withdraw from the qualifying match for the International Championship in Leicester on 17 September due to medical reasons. He also withdrew from this month's British and English Open events. His last appearance in a ranking tournament in the UK was in September 2026. O'Sullivan's longstanding medical issues have tended to ease during Chinese events and he played both the China Open and Wuhan Open earlier this season.
