Last season’s strengths were transition, half-court creation, and guard-led ball movement. This season, the coach wants to keep those strengths while fixing the defensive end of the floor. He asked for size, athleticism and versatility, and he received them. Still, the new roster is not yet proven. The published analysis contains no reliable offensive or defensive numbers. Tillman dealt with health issues and limited playing time last season, and his one-year commitment with no exit clause signals trust as much as it signals risk.
